heavens above us
Our gratitude and thanks for all the work of our space scientists at around the world and working at the American and European space agencies.
finding our way
Our appreciation of the work of the the early cartographers who helped map out the lie of the land and whose work made it possible to find and share our route today. And the british ordnance survey who helped us find a green route out of London’s city streets through forest, along valleys and up over the hills to reach our destination and allow you to fly with us over our route. I have always loved their maps and find their app is worth the small annual charge to provide access to all their maps when out walking. Its community features allowed us to share our chosen route for those that wish to follow some or all of it. Find out more here
underworld and waterworld
The resources provided by the British Geological Survey helped us understand the earth beneath our feet and the WWF helped us understand where our precious rivers are going.

And Our wold in data for collating and presenting data about our world
And Last but not least The COvid-19 crew that carried us through
The epidemiologists that helped predict the unpredictable twists and turns of the virus as it run amok amongst us. The doctors and nurses that cared for us in darkest hours and the vaccinologists that worked around the clock to brew our not so secret weopens against it. And also for those political leaders and other story tellers that take heed of science and understanding and tell us how it is and what needs to be done, rather than spinning yarns that we would so much rather were true.
